Spiny Shell Squash Blossom Necklace
This stunning sterling silver Spiny Shell Squash Blossom Necklace was hand-crafted by a Navajo silversmith. It showcases a beautiful Spiny Shell cabochon. Spiny Shell is found deep in the Sea of Cortez in the Baja region of the Gulf of California. It can come in a variety of bright oranges, deep purples, rich reds, and in some rare cases, yellow. The bottom horseshoe-shaped piece is called a Naja. It is a good luck symbol borrowed from the Moors’ culture of Spain. The handmade sterling silver beads are oxidized for a vintage look.
