Santo Domingo Two Strand Heishi Earrings

The Santo Domingo Pueblo is located near Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Santo Domingo artisans have been creating heishi (hee-shee) beads for over 1,000 years. Heishi beads are discs of shell or turquoise that have been ground into smooth barrel shapes, then drilled and strung to create beautiful, smooth flexible tubes of stones.  Santo Domingo heishi is world renowned for its fineness in materials and workmanship. A Santo Domingo artist created these colorful two strand heishi earrings.  They feature beautiful patterns of Turquoise, Shell, Black Jet and Sponge Coral with a sterling silver cone top. They are light weight and so versatile you'll enjoy wearing them.
