These beautiful Orange Spiny Shell Earrings showcase expertly handcrafted Santo Domingo Heishe beads. The larger beads at the bottom of the earrings are carved in the shape of corn which is a symbol of abundance for Native Americans. This bright orange color gives the earrings a show stopping look. Orange Spiny Shell, from the Sea of Cortez in Baja California Mexico, comes in many shades of orange, red and purple depending upon the depth of the water in which it is found. Handmade in New Mexico by a Santo Domingo artist.
