Navajo Chimney Butte Number 8 Turquoise Statement Necklace
Sorry, currently out of stock
Famous Navajo artist, Chimney Butte, created this wonderfully unique necklace using 2 large pieces of the coveted Number 8 turquoise from Eureka County, Nevada. Number 8 Turquoise is a collector's item. It has not been mined since 1976. Any new pieces released are from the owner's reserve. Once the reserve is gone there will be no more material released onto the market. A large piece of Orange Spiny Shell separates the two pieces. Inverted rosettes, sterling silver beads, and filigree silverwork surround the piece creating a wearable work of art. The large spiral detailed bale is a perfect fit for the handmade oxidized sterling silver graduated bead necklace. The spiral symbolizes the flight of the eagle in Native American jewelry. This one-of-a-kind necklace makes a statement. Get ready for comments and compliments.
The necklace can be worn alone or with the pendant.
