Bismuth Crystal Specimen
This extraordinary, pure Bismuth crystal is grown in a laboratory in the United States. Scarce as silver, heavier than lead, one cubic foot of bismuth would weigh over 600 lbs. Bismuth is an element. When it is natural, it is a dull formless grey material. In its pure form, it spontaneously grows striking geometric shapes with steps, tunnels, pyramids and abstract angles. Then, when exposed to oxygen, it reacts with colors such as pink, purple, blue, silver and gold. Peru is one of the world's major sources of Bismuth. Native pure crystals are extremely rare. Non-toxic to humans, bismuth is used in medicine, such as Pepto Bismol, and in cosmetics to provide a shimmery look. Metaphysically, Bismuth covers and protects us from harmful energy. It relieves symptoms of isolation, both spiritually and emotionally. As a stone of transformation, it calms disorder and helps push changes in the right direction.
