Double Band Larimar Teardrop Ring (Size 6 ¾)

This Larimar teardrop cabochon is bezel set in sterling silver. The double band has a rope twist detail gives a unique look and provides a comfortable fit.  Larimar is a rare stone mined only in the Dominican Republic where it was thought to be from the Lost City of Atlantis. It actually comes from a volcanic deposit on the island.  The discoverer of this stone named it for his daughter, Larissa, and mar meaning sea in Spanish.  The soft blue color looks like the waters of the Caribbean Sea. Handmade in New Mexico by a Navajo artist.
