Lucian Koinva Dry Creek Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace and Earring Set

This outstanding Dry Creek Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace by Hopi Silversmith Lucian Koinva, is truly a collector's piece.  The iconic Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace has a long history in Native American jewelry. This necklace features 20 rare Dry Creek Turquoise stones. Each piece is strung on two strands of hand made sterling silver oxidized beads to add both strength and beauty. Squash Blossoms, the flared flower shapes attached to the beads, and the crescent shaped Naja pendant at the bottom are traditional elements.  The silver has been oxidized to give it an "Old World" look. Completely handcrafted by a Navajo silversmith in New Mexico. Matching earrings are included.
