Navajo White Buffalo Stone Pendant & Earrings Set
This White Buffalo stone pendant & earrings set has striking splashes of black and white running through the stone. A simple smooth bezel keeps the attention on this rare stone and gives the set a contemporary look. The borders around the stones are oxidized for contrast. The set was handmade by Navajo artist John King in New Mexico. It is a versatile and unique pendant & earring set that will complement many outfits and work for many occasions.
White Buffalo Stone, commonly called White Buffalo Turquoise, is from a single mine near Tonopah, Nevada. It is known for its distinct beauty and purity. While similar to turquoise in its structure and formation, its stunning white and black color is due to the lack of heavy metals like copper, iron, and zinc, which are responsible for the characteristic blues and greens found in turquoise. With only a single mine in existence, the value continues to increase as the resources are depleted.
