This striking Number 8 Turquoise cuff bracelet by Navajo artist, Anthony Kee, is actually four slender bracelets joined together by simple sterling silver bars on each side. The large oval stone is set in a heavily oxidize shadow box style setting that also has a hand cut sterling silver accent. This is an elegant cuff that would go with many outfits! The Number 8 Turquoise Mine in Carlin, Nevada in Eureka County was first mined in 1929 until its depletion 1961. In its prime, No. 8 produced some of the largest turquoise nuggets ever found. After mining a final amount, the Number 8 mine closed in 1976 and is much sought after on the market today.
