Navajo Red Spiny Shell Squash Blossom Necklace – Handmade

  • $2,100.00
- 0%

This Navajo handmade squash blossom necklace features rich red spiny shell set in sterling silver, arranged in a classic and balanced design.

Each stone is carefully set by hand, highlighting the natural variation and depth of the shell. The smaller scale offers a more refined take on the traditional squash blossom style while maintaining its iconic silhouette.

The bottom horseshoe shaped piece is called a Naja and is a good luck symbol borrowed from the Moors’ culture of Spain. Spiny Shell  is found deep in the waters of the Sea of Cortez. Native Americans once walked from the American Southwest to the Baja Peninsula to trade Turquoise for this bright colored shell.  This is a timeless piece that blends heritage craftsmanship with wearable elegance.
