These Santo Domingo Spiny Shell and Turquoise Earrings are classic. Spiny Shell is  found in deep water off the coast of Baja, California in the Sea of Cortez. This beautiful shell can be found in many shades of orange and sometimes purple. These free-form, genuine orange spiny shell earrings have smooth polished edges and are finished with a pop of genuine blue turquoise at the bottom. The Santo Domingo Indians live in Northern New Mexico and specialize in grinding stone and shell. These earrings are a beautiful example of their recognizable style. Completely hand-crafted by a Santo Domingo artist.
